It is worthwhile for anyone working in teaching to professionalise their speaking. A seminar room or lecture theatre places completely different demands on voice and speech than a personal conversation. Everything has to be bigger, clearer and more extroverted. In this workshop you will learn the tools to do this.
There will be short lectures on the physiological background and, building on this, many practical exercises for volume, carrying power, clarity, pitch, gentle vocalisation and speaking under stress. At the end of the workshop, you can put together your own training programme.
Another focus is the professional expression of voice, text, face and body. Methods from theatre work will be presented and tried out.
The aim of the workshop is to know a tool for all parameters of speaking in teaching and to develop a confident speaking technique over time.
