How can we prepare our students for living and working in a world with AI? Many lecturers are unsettled at the moment because they know that AI is here to stay and harbours great potential, but also great dangers, in all areas of life. They are wondering how students can be prepared to deal with this complex, rapidly evolving AI landscape.
At the same time, most lecturers are still developing their own AI skills and wonder where the time and expertise to support students in this area will come from. How can you promote students' AI skills in your own course without having to invest too much time and energy?
In this course, you will explore this question. Firstly, we will meet virtually to activate your prior knowledge and get into the topic. After the meeting, you will have the opportunity to work independently with the materials and tasks provided - please allow 4-5 hours for this. These will provide you with new impulses and support you in transferring the content to your own teaching. Finally, we will meet again online to discuss and work on your challenges and open questions together.
